Employee OnTrack© is a performance based Appraisal System that provides an easy solution to the complex task of monitoring employee skills, workplace assessments,  performances and rewards. It comes pre-loaded with National Competency Standards for Administration, IT and Local Government ready to link to Jobs and Employees. You can even add your own customised Job Competencies.  It  is very easy to use for even the novice computer user, and requires minimal training to get started.

 

 

 

Employee OnTrack allows you to:

  1. Manage all facets of Competency/Job Skills including competency assessments and appraisals

  2. Monitor in-house and external Training, including the expiry of professional certificates required on the job

  3. Maintain a log of all workplace Injuries and incidents along with costs paid

  4. Manage employee Risks from exposure to Asbestos, Hazardous Chemicals to maintaining a history of employee Immunisation

  5. Log and report against all 'To Do' Tasks for employees

« Competency Management

The first time you start Employee OnTrack you select one of 10 "Models". Each Model is a data entry template, which customises Employee OnTrack to your Organisation's Salary and Job Grading Policies, with different combinations of Bands, Levels, Grades, Salary Points and/or Steps. This is a One-Off selection.

 

The File Set Up Menu then enables you to enter data to each of the elements of your chosen Model viz: Bands & Levels, Job Grades, Salary Points/Steps as well as create the necessary relationships between Bands,  Salary Point and Job Grade. You can add your own Competencies (Units and Elements) and Performance Criteria to the pre-installed list of Competencies, as well as add Job and Employee details.

 

Next you identify and allocate Competencies, Performance Criteria and optional Assessment Measures (for each Performance Criteria) to Jobs; then assign Employees to Jobs.

The ‘Daily Work Menu provides all the Performance Monitoring/Updating ‘tools’ necessary to evaluate, and improve Employee Job Performance and maintain Salary Benefits (as it applies to your selected Model). There are plenty of Competency/Assessment and Appraisal related reports available.

« Training Management

This modules integrates with Competency Management. It provides:

  •       Courses categorised by Classroom, On Job, Workshop are maintained in a Course Register which provides for multiple sessions, costs and Job grade level competencies for each course. Employees can be booked for a particular session and notified by letter. Course Certificate details are also tracked within the course.

  •       Create a "booking" for planned training for an Employee and maintain the expected costs. Once the Employee is ready to do the Training, the 'Planned' training can be easily converted to a 'confirmed' booking. Obtain a report by employee of all planned training for the year.

  •       All after hours training/qualifications for an Employee can also be maintained within this module. Employee Awards/Rewards from the Competency Appraisal module or ad hoc Awards may be tracked within the system.

  •       Enter employee details of Trade Certificates and let Employee OnTrack remind you when its next due for renewal

«  Injury Management

Create an Injury Register for any incident or worker's compensation claim. Maintain and track treatment, costs and Return to Work co-ordinator (Rehab Co-ordinator) activities for the employee Injury claim. Print Insurer Claim Forms direct from Employee OnTrack. Print reports for Injury/Workplace Review Committee for assessment of risks.

 

«  Risk Management

This module allows you to manage or maintain:

  • Confined Spaces and Asbestos Management/Removal registers

  • Safe Work Method statements (SWMS)

  • Hazardous Chemicals and Substances

  • Employee Immunisations

 

Get automatic reminders of tasks like immunisation booster, second and final shots, SWMS expiry dates and many more.
